Meet our Apostle

Apostle, Dr. Brenda L. Conyers is a native of Richmond, Virginia.  She is the Senior Pastor and Overseer of Garment of Praise Faith Ministry. Dr. Conyers currently holds an Associates Bachelor’s Degree of Ministry, Doctorate Degree of Pastoral Counseling from the Higher Learning Bible Institute International Seminary, Richmond, VA; Honorary Doctorate Degree of Ministry from the Trinity Bible College, In 2019, she received an Associate’s Degree in Religion from Liberty University, Lynchburg, VA. In 2021, she completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Religion also from Liberty University. Currently, she is pursuing her Master’s Degree in Pastoral Counseling Chaplaincy, Liberty University.

In 1986, Dr. Conyers was licensed as an Evangelist and was ordained as an Elder under the leadership of Bishop John L. Harris, Senior Pastor and Founder of Crusade for Christ Christian Church Ministries in Richmond, Virginia.  While under his leadership, she served as an associate minister, youth minister, choir director and established the Big Brother/Sister Mentoring Club.

In 1993, Dr. Conyers established New Beginnings Deliverance Tabernacle Church. now Garment of Praise Faith Ministry, in Richmond, Virginia.

In 1996, upon the completion of the School of the Prophets, Dr. Conyers was consecrated as Prophet by the Late Major Prophet, Dr. Ronnie R. Tomblin, Pastor and Founder of Ever Increasing Faith Ministries in Charlotte, North Carolina.  

From 1997-1998, Dr. Conyers completed Pastoral Training and Ministerial Leadership Courses at the Greater Lighthouse Bible College in Baltimore, Maryland.  In addition, she completed a course training, "Strengthening the Family", through Virginia Union University in 2004.

 

Dr. Conyers is the presiding prelate and Chief Apostle of Kingdom of God Ministries, International.  In 2001, she was consecrated as an Apostle by the laying of hands of the presbyter, Apostle Frank Dowtin, Founder and Pastor of Capital Christian Deliverance Center in Richmond, Virginia.  Also in 2001, Dr. Conyers established the Emmanuel School of the Prophets through which many people have been trained to operate in their prophetic calling.  

Presently, Dr. Conyers is under the leadership of Apostle, Dr. Steve I. and Pastor Olivia Foreman, overseers of the Abundant Life Church of Christ in Richmond, Virginia. In 2007, she became a team member of C.L.U.R.T (Come Let Us Reason Together), an international assembly established by Bishop George Bloomer Senior Pastor and Founder of the Be’thel Family Worship Center in Durham, North Carolina.

Anointed to flow in the five-fold ministry gifts, Dr. Conyers is one that is dedicated to touching the lives of people so that souls are set free, healed and delivered by the power of God.  She is the author of several books which include Warring in Your Authority, Empowered to Win!, Seeing Above See Level, The Eternal Impact, and Prayer Changes Reality.

Dr. Conyers is licensed to operate as a Rehabilitation Counselor at the Richmond City Probation and Correctional Facility, where she brings healing and deliverance to men and women involved in substance abuse.  She is sure to deliver the uncompromising Word of God that will arrest you and bring you face-to-face with your life’s issues and draw you closer to Jesus Christ. She is particularly gifted in bridging the gap between past and present generations. She has ministered through radio, television, revivals, seminars and various conferences throughout the United States and abroad including Jamaica, Bahamas, Aruba, and South Africa.  Her mission is to win souls for the building of God’s Kingdom, to train leaders for the perfecting of the church, and to establish ministries so that they would be acceptable to Christ at His return.

Dr. Conyers has three daughters, two adopted daughters, one son, three sons in law, one daughter in law, twelve grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.  Her family is committed to the working of the ministry.

Meet our Pastor

Pastor Pamela T. Harris, a native of Henderson, North Carolina was born on September 27, 1972 to the late Lee Sr., and Shirley Mae Terry.  She was educated in Vance County Public Schools. She accepted Christ at an early age and served under the leadership of the late Bishop Ernest Alston of Jesus House of Prayer.

In January 2000, Pastor Pam served under the leadership of Pastor Rosa Perry of Rock of Prayer & Deliverance Holiness Church as her armor bearer, and operated in different ministries within the church.  The foundation of serving Pastor Perry as an armorbearer was preparation for the call on her life.  In 2010, the Lord instructed her to relocate to Richmond, Virginia under the leadership of Apostle, Dr. Brenda L. Conyers, Senior Pastor of Garment of Praise Faith Ministry.  Pastor Pam began her formal journey in ministry serving faithfully as a missionary. After completing ministerial leadership classes at Garment of Praise Bible Institute, she was ordained as elder.

In 2015, upon the completion of the Emmanuel School of the Prophets under the teachings of Apostle, Dr. Brenda L. Conyers, Pastor Pam was unlocked as prophet. In October 2022, she was ordained as Executive Pastor of Garment of Praise Faith Ministry.

 Pastor Pam serves as the Chief Adjutant to Apostle Brenda L. Conyers, and Adjutant General in the Kingdom of God Ministries International organization. She has taught classes in various parts of the United States which include Virginia, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Louisiana, and Texas and has traveled abroad to South Africa and the Bahamas.

Pastor Pam oversees the Women’s Ministry at Garment of Praise, and is one of the intercessors and prayer warriors in the Kingdom Prayer Watchers Ministry, a ministry dedicated to praying and filling in the gap for others.

She demonstrates the true heart of a servant, living a selfless life for the sake of the advancement of her leader’s vision.  Above all, nothing can be measured or compared to her love for God, and her relationship with Him. Her life is a life lived by faith, completely trusting God and taking Him at His Word knowing that “all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.”

She has four children, one bonus daughter, and one granddaughter.  Her family is committed to the working of the ministry.
